Hi there. Can you advise how much veg soil/compost we would need to fill a 12ft x 4ft deluxe (14" high) bed please?ALso, if we site the bed on grass, would you recommend putting a barrier / weed control membrane down first? Thanks.

Hi Steve
That bed will take 1,580 litres of compost to fill from top to bottom
No need for ground fabric. Once you have a 14 inch bed or above nothing will grow up through that depth of soil so you can just put it down on the grass and fill away
