At the end of the season is it necessary to change the compost in my veg true, or could I just add home made compost, or maybe just remove top 6 inches? I have no where to dispose of spent compost. Having amazing success with it, by the way.

Hi Gillian. No need to take out or replace the soil in the unit each year. You will find the soil decreasing as the year goes on due to the nutrients being removed by the plants. Each winter just top up the Vegtrug with your new compost or buy in some good nutrient rich compost to add to the top of the bed. Envirogrind is particularly good for this purpose.
