It totally depends on where you have the cable set. If it is in a polytunnel or glasshouse the Thermostat will cut off once the temperatures get above 28 degrees however temperatures in tunnels can get up to 40. Use of the cables and thermostats is particularly important up to the end of March when temperatures are low in tunnels and glasshouses and thereafter to keep soil temperatures up overnight
