How do the deep roottrainers do on a heated bed using your cable. Do they warm up as well given that the rootrainer cells are suspended in the plastic frame?

Rootrainers will not do so well on a heated bed as the modules aren't in contact with the soil. You would be better using the 84 cell plant trays. Rootrainers are best used indoors to germinate the seed which once sprouted can go into the tunnel or greenhouse.
