Thank you for your question Akiko. The Grass Slasher is more of a long term tool if you think you are going to be doing this work every year it is the better option. That said the Sickle is very effective and we sell a huge amount of them and they are always well received. Afterwards the correct tool to use to dig the roots is one of our Chillington Heavy duty Hoes.
