It would be gone in jig time with the rain and wind. Literally would not last more than a week or two. That said there might be the option to make them out of a biodegradeable material of some sort so definitely worth a look. There is an element of recycling in the material used in that these Gro Grids can literally be re-used every year. I have one on the go for 10 years now.
