Can I really use growgrid A for potatoes? And I won't have to hill up? Will the yield be the same?

Hi Bert. You can use Growgrid A for potatoes but you will need deeply dug and fertile soil. It is more designed for gardeners with no time to week, if you can spend time in the garden you are better off sticking to traditional methods. This is mat is perfect for brassicas etc... that are large and have a single stem but not as well suited for potatoes with multiple stems.
