You can cut the mats easily with a scissors but we don't recommend it as it will leave an unsealed edge which may fray over time. If you need to cut it I would advise creating a hem by folding the edge over a couple of times (only a cm or so) and stapling along the seam with an ordinary stapler. That will ensure the mat lasts as long as possible. I have been using the same mat for 6 years now so they pretty much last for ever. I hope this helps. Andrew
