SorrySo I order the 12ft and ask for more post -- OR -- just order the two 6x4 or the two 6x3 depending on which depth i end up choosing. Or are the post you say to get extra for the spread reason if ordering either...confusion if i can join two beds ...

Hi Patrick The 12ft beds are made up of two 6ft beds joined together. The reason for this is exactly as you say. After a few years the soil may force the centre out and it is much stronger to have the two beds joined. We normally supply this bed with just 6 corner posts with only two needed in the centre but i am happy to supply you with 8 for future flexibility. The 12 foot bed only needs 6 x posts. Unless you want two raised beds with a gap in the middle there is no advantage to 2 x extra posts and gable ends. You are only paying extra for timber that is not giving you any benefit. I would recommend ordering the 12ft bed. I hope this helps. Andrew
