Hi Phil. Thank you for your question. The 10% discount applies to the raised beds only as we are running a raised bed sale. With regard to rain issues I would always cover bare soil with a protective mulch or layer of mypex to prevent nutrients being washed out. It can be handy to get beds placed in Autumn so you are ready for the growing year in Spring but I guess that's a personal choice, we won't be running a 10% sale in Spring either!
