We are looking to plant cucumbers and pumpkins (in seed pots at the moment) would these raised beds suit? Looking for the cheapest option, thanks.

Hi Avril. These beds will be fine provided they are going on good quality soil, if not I would go for a taller 14inch high bed. Also, both cucumbers and pumpkins need a lot of feed to make sure you mix in plenty of seaweed and poultry manure pellets when planting out (they are the handiest). Cucumbers will not survive outside so am presuming you have a glasshouse or polytunnel?
