Yes in short as the temperatures gets so high in the unit it will be able to deal with them. However if putting Bind weed in i would be tempted to put the compost through two full cycles of the unit just to 100% get rid of them. In truth it might be easier to build a pile for the bind weed and burn it as it is so invasive even the smallest piece left will spread again
