We understand there is a risk of parasites not being killed if temperatures in the digester is not hot enough, and so we are inclined not to digest it as we would want to use the compost on a veg garden. Have you any experience of digesting pet litter and can you advise further. One option we would consider is two digesters, one for general garden, one for veg but it's a very significant investment. Also can you really get away with digesting perennial weedings like ragwort or thistle? Which size would you advise for

Hi Cathy
Provided you get the mix right you will get the temperatures easily up to 65/70 degrees in the Joraform and in that case cat litter is not an issue at all. We have plenty of customers using the Joraform and putting in cat litter. You will need the JK270 for the size family you have so i would suggest this will be large enough and you certainly won't need 2
