As the Joraforms are very well sealed and insulated putting it in a sunny spot doesn't make a huge amount of difference so no it doesn't need to be put in a sunny spot. We don't supply wall mounting brackets as with the weight of the unit once full it may not be safe so the floor mounted stand is the best way to go
