Does above Compost Tumbler need to be in a sunny position or may it be placed in a duller area in garden?

Hi Moira. The compost bin will work fine in a shaded area of the garden. The heat is inside is generated by the bacteria breaking down the waste and is kept in by the insulation. Outside temperature does make a difference but this is more seasonal variations rather than sun and shade.
