We have lots of customers who keep them inside and it actually helps the internal temperatures particularly in the Autumn and Spring. That said it will leak a little for the first few uses until the heat expands the foam so be careful on that front. Once the foam expands inside the leaking will stop. Other than that if used properly you won't have any odour issues
