They will compost however it will take 2 maybe 3 times through the Joraform before they totally break down. My issue when using them was that they tended to get wrapped around the centre spindle of the unit and after a while i had to spend a bit of time clearing them out as they were not staying in the compost pile and hence breaking down with the heat. So long story short i now don't put them in any more
