Hi Ian. Its a very good question. For a household with 2 people with just kitchen waste and a small bit of garden waste the JK125 would be what we would normally recommend however you have a large garden and will obviously be producing a lot of garden waste so it sounds like the JK270 would be your best bet. The JK400 would definately be to large. The great thing about the Joraform composters is that you will continue to produce your own compost in good quantities for years to come. You could buy the compost directly but you will have to do that year in year out. So once you have stomached the cost of the tumbler it continues to pay for itself.
