Hi, if you had to pick between the hotbin and the little pig in terms of performance and quality of compost produced, which composter would you choose? ...lly I would like to be able to compost perennial weeds too, but maybe that’s a bad idea?

Hi Amy
To be honest the Joraform. The Hotbins are great but only the centre of them get up to the level of temperature required to break down perennial weeds etc. The Hotbins work really well however you have to get your layering right to make sure the heat builds up. The Joraform you just chuck in your scraps, garden waste etc and give it a turn. It does the rest for you. Plus it will handle a lot more volume over time
