Hi Mark. Sorry for the late reply on this one, I had written a note in my diary and neglected to follow up. The dipper pipe has a dripper every 33cm. Each dripper puts out 1.6L per hour. If you had a single 12ft (3.6m) length of pipe it would contain 10 drippers and therefore output 10.6 litres per hour. A standard water butt contains approx 200 litres therefore if you had the dripper line on continuously it would take 18 hours to completely drain the butt. If you had the dripper on for 2 hrs per day it would take 9 days to drain the butt. I hope this helps. Andrew
