            ...o;t dig out the roots. I do not want to spray the area and I was wondering could I burn it and then remove everything and cover the area.

    Hi Roisin
Burning will only clear what is above the surface however if you burn off brambles and then go over them twice more with 3 week intervals. My experience has been the roots give up and they die off. Then cover and your problem will be solved
