...ou want to keep should aim the flame so you don't fry them with the blast of heat?

Hi Nichola
Once you get the flame running well which is about 1 minute after you ignite the flame it is a fairly funneled flame and if you keep it back from the ground about 2 feet it is very accurate so easy to stay away from plants you are trying to avoid. The closer you place it to the ground the more it spreads out
