Would you be able to grow melons in this?
Vegtrug Home Farm Kit Special Offer
The centre of the trug looks deep enough to manage a midget melon, but I am wondering at the cover. Would it be the equivalent of an unheated polytunnel?

Hi there. Thank you for your question. I think that given the size of a melon plant you may struggle. The vegtrug with cover will be as warm as an un heated tunnel but bear in mid temperature will fluctuate quicker and be more extreme because of the small size. In my opinion, you could grow a midget melon but I think you could use the Vegtrug space more effectively with a range of more compact crops.
