Hi there, thank you for your question. The heavy duty winter garden fleece does contain recycled material but unfortunately it is neither compostable or recyclable. We recommend the heavy duty fleece as it is less likely to tear and will last much longer. We also recommend attaching timber battens to either end of the fleece which makes it easier to lay and roll up for storage which, again, makes it less likely to tear and degrade.
