You say in the description it kills weeds off patio and paving. But won't it blacken and/or crack the paving stones from the fire and the heat?

Hi I'm interested in purchasing this but just wanted to know can you kill weeds in grass/lawn area without killing grass? Also wondering if you have a lot of area to do and need to refill tank is it safe to do while still hot after turning off? Thanks
