At the end of the season is it necessary to change the compost in my veg true, or could I just add home made compost, or maybe just remove top 6 inches? I have no where to dispose of spent compost. Having amazing success with it, by the way.

Andrew,Am I correct in assuming the liner is porous to enable any excess water to drain? I need to know because it has bearing upon where I put the bed. Thank you for answering my questions.

Can you tell me if the wood is pressure treated please? I know you say 'stained', but that's more to do with the colour than the anti-rot treatment!
