If you are covering the complete area before putting down the beds there is no need for additional liners as the wood is treated. The only real purpose of the liners is to stop things growing up through it. The size of beds you have will take 850 litres per bed and i would recommend the tonne bags of Veg mix as this will allow you grow straight away as it is pre-mixed. Don't get very small gravel for the pathways or you will struggle moving the wheelbarrows when full. And fill the bed before putting the gravel down. Much tidier and easier
