Is the 9 inch raised beds deep enough for salad crops - lettuce, spring onions, radish? The rest of my raised beds are deeper which I use for vegetables but i'm wondering if I can get away with a lower bed for some veg/salad.

Interested in purchasing this split level raised bed but faced with a sloping garden. Slope approximately 1 brick height on wall against which 6ft side would be placed. Would I need to dig in and will soil on both sides of wood cause problems.
